My son Ally is my inspiration for Ally Candles. In the summer of 2018 Ally died from Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome. He was a fit and active 17 year old and had never displayed any symptoms that anything was wrong.  I have always loved candles and since Ally's tragic death I've become absorbed by the enjoyment and challenge of developing beautifully crafted and fragranced candles.  Lovingly created by my own hand using the very best soy wax with a natural purity and combining this with my distinctive elegant fragrances make Ally Candles a symbol of youth and hope.

Founded in 1875, Charbonnel et Walker is one of Britain’s finest chocolatiers.  Encouraged by Edward VII, Charbonnel et Walker formed as a partnership between Mme Charbonnel and Mrs Walker, together these two talented women created the most beautiful chocolates encased in exquisite boxes. Charbonnel et Walker chocolates are still hand-made to the traditional recipes of Madame Charbonnel, and they are particularly renowned for their dark chocolate, made from the finest dark couverture. The result is a decadently rich taste.

Founded by Gerry Ettinger in 1934, the company remains family owned and is now run by his eldest son, Robert Ettinger.  Robert comments: “We are one of the few remaining British luxury leather goods companies still manufacturing in the UK, and we pride ourselves on designing and handcrafting only the very finest leather goods.” Ettinger takes great pride in its team of craftspeople and with their unwavering attention to detail and continuing watchful eye on creating new and exciting collections.  The company carries the Royal Warrant of HRH The Prince of Wales.

Alexander Johnston established the Elgin Mill on the banks of the river Lossie over two centuries ago, beginning a legacy of finely crafted exquisite fabric and yarn which endures to this day. Johnstons expert craftspeople take pride in every thread, twist, yarn and stitch - from the raw fibre in the wool store to the perfected garment in the showroom.  From dyeing to blending, carding to spinning, warping to weaving, knitting to teaseling and cutting to folding – it all happens in Johnston’s own mills in the heart of Scotland.

American potter, interior designer and author Jonathan Adler launched his eponymously named brand after leaving his day job to pursue his first love: pottery craft.  He opened his first store in Soho, New York City in the mid 1990’s retailing exquisite home accessories for stylish Manhattan residents. Jonathan Adler brings luxurious and livable modern American design to interiors that are elegantly designed, but without pretension.

A wide sandy bay on the north coast of Cornwall; a place where invigoration and calm, alert and serene are endlessly intertwined. Inspired by this Cornish idyll, Pix Ashworth created cool bath and body brand, land&water - capturing Cornwall’s essence and literally bottling it!  Created in collaboration with leading apothecarist and perfumer Richard Howard, the land&water collection tells a distinctive story blending invigoration and calm and using natural essential oils and actives to ignite the therapeutic benefits of this beautiful range.

“I have been passionate about skincare since I was a young, and my standards for my son were high. Though I travelled extensively, I could never find products that ticked all my boxes: organic, luxurious, gentle, effective and absolutely safe.  So this was my inspiration to begin my own company.  I sought out preparations for highly sensitive, irritation-prone newborn skin and wanted reassurance that no harmful ingredients were included.”

Mother and founder of Little Butterfly

Bollinger Special Cuvée Champagne, France

Since 1829, Bollinger has been producing great champagnes with a powerful, sophisticated and complex style. Madame Lily Bollinger, who died in 1971, was the wine's greatest international ambassador. Once, when asked how she enjoyed her Champagne, she replied, "I drink it when I'm happy and when I'm sad. Sometimes I drink it when I'm alone. When I have company, I consider it obligatory. I trifle with it if I'm not hungry and drink it when I am. Otherwise, I never touch it - unless I'm thirsty.

Rock Angel Côtes de Provence Rosé, Provence, France

Chateau d’Esclans is a magical property and has been home to some of the world’s most coveted wine for centuries. This elegant rose has a fresh nose with light fruit aromas, complex notes of liquorice and a hint of angelica.  A wine that is full of harmony on the palate, with delicious red fruit flavours and a surprising light spicy finish. Its perfect partner is a balmy summer evening on a romantic terrace with sultry summer vistas…

Daou Reserve Chardonnay 2019, California, USA

Lebanese Brothers George & Daniel Daou discovered the land that was to become Daou Mountain a decade ago.  They bring a drive, passion and devotion to wine making which for the duo has forged a successful wine brand in the United States. This lush and luxuriant Chardonnay presents a symphony of tropical aromas including pineapple, mango and freshly sliced banana, with accents of nutmeg, vanilla, honeysuckle, and hazelnut. The palate is voluminous and silky, unfolding with elegant flavours of honeydew melon, golden delicious apple and lemon curd.

Hitching Post Hometown Pinot Noir 2017, California, USA

Made famous in the film Sideways, Hitching Post is rightfully considered a top producer of Pinot Noir in California. This example comes from Santa Barbara and has juicy flavours of ripe cherry, an earthy touch, a seductive vein of spice and strikes a great balance between bright fruitiness and savoury character. It has a substantial mouth feel and a long finish.

Soul Growers Cellar Dweller Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, Barossa Valley, Australia

Soul Growers was formed in 1998 by the renowned winemaker Paul Heinicke with the partnership of award-winning winemaker Stuart Bourne, and quickly gathered a strong following. Vibrant and darkly red, the nose is lifted, complex with cassis, and blackcurrant fruits with a touch of oak spice. Deep and brooding, this wine is a full-bodied classic, rich in flavour, with a long finish and elegant natural textures.

Crafty Distillery Hills & Harbour Gin, Scotland, UK

This is a small batch hand produced gin that is all about provenance and quality. Everything happens at the distillery in Newton Stewart where local wheat is mashed before being distilled. The key botanicals are bladderwrack seaweed from the Galloway coast, noble fir from the hills surrounding the distillery, mango to add a depth and sweetness, and peppercorns, to bring everything together beautifully. Sweet and peppery juniper is balanced with hints of forest fir, tropical fruit, citrus spice, tangy sherbet and a subtle scent of the Scottish shore.

Wemyss Malts The Hive Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, Scotland, UK

Founded in 2005, Wemyss Malts takes a careful and highly focused approach to blending. A perfect marriage of sweet, light Speyside signature malts and a base of unpeated core malts are expertly blended to bring out the rich scents and flavours of honey and fruit. Golden bronze in colour, the nose is rich and luscious, with heather, honey and dried fruits marinated in orange liqueur, along with warm woodiness and orchard fruitiness. The palate is honey glazed spiced apples. Dessert spices intensify with water, when sweeter notes are revealed.
